Run the Set

You’ve really gotten into this fighting game! Playing online is fun and all, but you’ve heard of a nearby place where folks play in person! After thinking about it for a bit, you decide you’re going to go and Run the Set!

Written for the One-Page RPG Jam, Run the Set is a love letter to fighting games and the communities that form around them. You tell the stories of people learning and playing at their favorite spot, sometimes going 0-2 and sometimes making it to Grand Finals! You and friends actually play sets of your favorite fighting game to influence your character's success.

1-4 players can play Run the Set as a one-shot or as part of their own roleplaying "weekly tournament". Get in as many sets as  you can before the venue shuts down for good!
